Osborne Academy
We finished the school year with Osborne Academy's Open House and School Year Celebration tonight! After a little time for perusing papers, projects, and art work, Eleanor and Sophia both presented a few of their accomplishments for the year. Eleanor read "Fun in the Sun" (from Bob Books: Set Two), recited The Short Vowel Poem, and talked about her favorite school experience. Then Sophia recited a poem called "Mr. Nobody", sang a Latin song about manners, and talked about a few "gifts of Rome" that we still use even after the fall of the Roman Empire.
We presented the girls with certificates for completing their school year successfully at Osborne Academy. Grandmama and Grandoc were able to join the festivities as well. It was a fun night! The girls have learned so much this year...we are so proud of them! We think our little guy is pretty sweet, too, so we're throwing in a picture of him for good measure. :)
