Unloading the Camera!

I realized today that I have a back-up camera I've been using a little since my other one has been "down" and I haven't uploaded any of the pictures off of it since we moved!  So here are a few *random* and overdue pictures....some taken recently, and some from a while back!

Eleanor's Masquerade

We hosted a masquerade party this afternoon for Eleanor's birthday, and it was lots of fun!  We donned our fanciest dresses, decorated masks, ate cake, and played outside on a wonderfully sunny afternoon.  What a blessing it was to have so many sweet friends help us celebrate!  Here are some pictures of the fun...

A Texas Thanksgiving

We had a fabulous Texas Thanksgiving this year, celebrating our Blesser and blessings with family.  After the two-day trip, the kids were ecstatic to see a trampoline, nearby park, and swimming pool within their reach!  They spent many hours playing with cousins they don't get to see very often and we adults enjoyed our share of fun and festivities as well.  Some highlights were:  playing tag around the huge Christmas tree at the shopping plaza; ice skating (yes, in Texas!); cheering Mommy, Daddy, Grandoc, and Aunt Ju-Ju on at the Thanksgiving Day race; swimming with cousins; and jumping on the trampoline with Piper (the dog!).  What a trip!  We're so thankful...and so very blessed.

LINK OCC Party 2012

We've been blessed to be part of a wonderful homeschooling co-op this year called LINK.  And today we had the privilege of bringing together two things that our family has grown to love very much--LINK and Operation Christmas Child!  We had about 25 kiddos and their moms with us on campus today to pack shoeboxes, craft cards (for their boxes), learn more about OCC, and listen to a personal testimony from a C of O student who actually received a shoebox gift as a child living in Honduras.  What a blessing!  Here are some pictures of the morning:

Homecoming 2012

We enjoyed our first C of O Homecoming this year.  The kids loved the inflatables, calves, piglets, parade, and basketball game!  And we had plenty of sunshine and blue sky for a bright morning.  Here are some pictures from the festivities (along with a couple from our backyard!) :
