We had a fun time learning about the history of Reformation Day in homeschool today. After three tries, I finally got my improv cloak pattern right (!), so the kids wore their medieval cloaks while we read stories about Martin Luther and other reformers. Hoping to make some time for a stained glass window craft this afternoon, and possibly "95 Recee's" (instead of 95 theses...:)).

The Butterfly Palace
We enjoyed a morning of adventure and exploration at The Butterfly Palace today. The girls made a new friend and enjoyed experiencing a few butterfly landings (see pictures)! It was definitely something new and exciting; I have a feeling this won't be our last visit!

Fall at the Lake
We decided to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather today and explore the hiking trails around Table Rock Lake. We had a great time playing around the lakeshore and touring the new Dewey Short Visitor Center (at the dam). I'm envisioning lots of homeschool science taking place there!

We had some students from our classes over last night for a pumpkin carving party. Here are some pictures of the girls hard at work!
